How does Silensor-sl help?

The Silensor-sl consists of a respective splint for the lower and upper jaw.

The lower jaw is moved forward by two lateral connectors connecting the two splints. This allows the Silensor-sl to counteract a narrowing of the airways. The speed of the inhaled air decreases, reducing vibrations and noise generated by soft tissues. The Silensor-sl allows for relative movements of the jaw; however, backward movement and lowering of the jaw are not possible. This function makes Silensor-sl a comfortable and effective protection against snoring.

Clinical studies have shown that moving the lower jaw forward reduces snoring in over 80% of patients and can decrease the apnea index by up to 50%.
