connecting the two splints. This allows the Silensor-sl to counteract a narrowing of the airways. The speed of the inhaled air decreases, reducing vibrations and noise generated by soft tissues. The Silensor-sl allows for relative movements of the jaw; however, backward movement and lowering of the jaw are not possible.
